Rescue Tails Creative is a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada, committed to protecting your personal information. We design and sell digital Canva templates for animal rescues, shelters, foster networks, and nonprofit animal welfare organizations. Our store and website (the “Services”) are powered by Shopify. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and your rights - in compliance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario privacy law. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

• Contact details - name, email address, and billing address (we do not require a shipping address, since all products are delivered digitally)
• Financial information - payment card and transaction details, processed securely by Shopify Payments / Stripe (we never see or store your full card details)

• Transaction information - templates you view, purchase, or download, and your order history
• Communications - information you include when contacting us, such as customer support inquiries

• Directly from you - when you make a purchase, create an account, sign up for our email list, or contact us

• From our service providers - Shopify, Shopify Payments/Stripe, Omnisend, and Canva, as part of how they help us operate our business

• Provide and fulfill orders - to process payments, deliver your Canva template link(s), maintain your account, and provide customer support
• Improve the Services - to understand how visitors use our Site so we can improve it
• Marketing - to send promotional emails and post-purchase follow-ups through Omnisend, only if you opt in; you can unsubscribe at any time
• Security and fraud prevention - to authenticate accounts, provide a secure checkout, and detect or investigate fraudulent or unlawful activity
• Legal reasons - to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, and enforce our Terms of Service and Template Terms of Use

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which processes personal information about your use of the Services in order to provide and improve them for us. Shopify may also use data from your interactions with our store - together with data from other Shopify merchants - to power certain built-in features (for example, fraud prevention and analytics). The Services may link to websites or platforms operated by third parties, including Canva (where you'll access your purchased templates) and our social media pages. 8. Children's privacy
Our Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
